New Digital Radio network on air !
On 1st August 2011, MEDIA BROADCAST launched its nation wide Digital Radio network. Based on 27 transmiter sites in the biggest cities of Germany, about 40% of the population in Germany are able to listen to the new programs via this new network. In addition, approximately 50% of the German highways are covered with the new signals. Plans to extend the network within the next few years are already aprovwed.
Together with the national programs of ARD and other private broadcasters, there will be up to 25 digital radio channels available at the end of 2011.
